This edition of Famaart is larger than the first; what opportunities does it offer your company?
In 2015 my Company will have been in the business 55 years and for at least 30 has believed strongly in the importance of specialist industry tradeshows, being a regular participant. In recent years I and other colleagues took it upon ourselves to set up the FAMAEUROPE Consortium representing the most important European manufacturers of picture frame profiles.
The tradeshow is a really important venue regardless of the size and type of commercial enterprise each of us has created. Venues like these help to give us visibility throughout the world.
What were your flagship products at the 2015 tradeshow?
My Company is a family run business employing about 15 people. We are specialist manufacturers of gold- and silver leaf coated picture frame profiles. Our products are entirely made by hand for a very demanding customer segment that nonetheless still demands excellent value for money. The new collections will not only take into consideration picture frame manufacturer requirements but will also look to trends in the furniture sector as well as what's happening in the design and art world, from photography and graphic art through to classical painting.
